| Renewal Process |
Assuming the credit card on file is valid, and that they have not canceled the subscription, it will renew 1 year or 365 days from initial purchase. Customer will be charged for full upcoming subscription amount at that time. Also, a reminder email should sent out a few weeks before the renewal date. There is a 14 day grace period to complete the renewal if CC is not on file/expired CC. After that time frame the user will have to repurchase a new JMP Personal Subscription and is not able to renew the old subscription. |
If the customer initially used a credit card for their purchase, the software is set to auto-renew at the renewal date. If they do not have a credit card saved, they get an invoice ahead of time. Once either the credit card is charged or invoice is paid, another year is automatically added to the serial number. If the invoice is not paid within 45 days of the renewal date, the customer will be locked out of the software. We can extend licenses, but prefer not to offer that unless absolutely necessary as it is a manual process involving changes to multiple systems.

We can handle that on a case-by-case basis. It is possible to either refund via SAS Finance (though they don’t like to handle too many of those) or issue a company credit in the store.
