JMP connection to “Tabular OLAP Cubes” database via ODBC

Hi all,

I have a question from a customer, do you know if JMP can connect to “Tabular OLAP Cubes” database via ODBC?

Hi Valerie,

 

I think the answer is "it depends".  It depends on the database in question, and the ODBC drivers that are available for that database.  If you are talking about SQL Server Analytical Services, there are some reported issues using ODBC.  Regular SQL Server and Oracle certainly don't seem to have problems.  You'll need to get more information from the customer.
