Salesforce Team Manager Candice Gervase (@CandiceGervase) has been selected as part of a group at Salesforce to help lead the SalesBlazer community, a program created for sales leaders to grow their skills, connect with others in sales, and help to direct the future of Salesforce.
Candice went through a rigorous application and selection process, applying before she even started at JMP! “A Salesblazer is just a notch below being an MVP, more like an MVP for a particular part of Salesforce.” Learn more about Salesblazer in this blog post.
“Only about 30 people from around the world were selected, and I was one of them!” Candice said. As a Salesblazer, she gets to join meetings once a month to learn about new sales cloud features and provide feedback on roadmap items, go-to-market strategies, and provide perspective on what would help sales cloud users the most. “I get a direct line to Salesforce product management,” she said. “It’s an amazing opportunity!”
“It speaks volumes that our Salesforce team leader is also considered a leader in the Salesforce community,” Marketing Director John Jones (@JonesieAtJMP) said. “Candice will be able to have insight into, and even help shape the Salesforce product roadmap.”
In addition to the honor of being named a Salesblazer, Candice was also selected by Salesforce as a Salesforce Mentor. She will lead a mentorship circle with 8 mentees to help them begin and navigate their Salesforce career. "Helping people start and grow their Salesforce careers has always been a passion of mine since I started with Salesforce more than 15 years ago, and I’m really looking forward to helping a new incoming group navigate their careers as well," she said.
Candice was recently featured in a post on the Salesforce LinkedIn page promoting the #Salesblazer movement. Can you spot her?
