Actualizaciones del foro de discusión

Hola,

 

El área de Discusiones tendrá el nuevo estilo aplicado hoy (01MAY23) o más tarde esta semana. Un artículo de blog en Community News discutirá algunos de los cambios. Aquí hay una captura de pantalla que muestra la página de destino rediseñada.

 

 

Además, hemos incluido las capacidades analíticas de JMP en la lista de etiquetas que se pueden seleccionar al iniciar un tema. Las etiquetas anteriores aún existen por compatibilidad. Eventualmente haremos la transición a solo las capacidades de análisis.

 

Si nota algún problema, háganoslo saber.

El nuevo formato utiliza una fuente muy grande.Sé que todos nos estamos haciendo viejos, pero ¿podría restablecerse la fuente a lo que era antes, como en esta página?

También hay muchos espacios en blanco.

Ni siquiera me di cuenta de que faltaba la burbuja naranja (al principio), ya que siempre empiezo desde la página "Bienvenido a la comunidad" y vuelvo a ella porque me gusta ver todas las áreas de discusión, pero definitivamente debería estar allí, ya que no lo haré. Lo más probable es que haga clic en mi cabeza para ver si tengo algunas notificaciones. Antes los vi con una mirada muy rápida sobre la burbuja del perfil.

Siempre me fascinan las conversaciones de la interfaz de usuario. Tiendo a preferir la fuente más grande y el mayor espacio porque me resulta más fácil leer y consumir la información. ¿Por qué prefiere la fuente más pequeña y menos espacios en blanco? ¿La misma razón por la que me gusta el otro? Sólo curioso. Gracias.

En mi caso, es porque estoy buscando mensajes que necesitan atención, sin mirar el mensaje más reciente. Reducir la escala no funciona para mí; la proporción de datos/espacio no cambia y las fuentes se vuelven demasiado pequeñas y hay un gran espacio en blanco en cada lado a una escala del 67%. El viejo aquí necesita una fuente grande y el máximo contraste. Esta fuente gris que estoy escribiendo se está desvaneciendo.

Quién lo actualizó por última vez. Cuantos han respondido. Cuál es el tema. Hay un punto dulce allí que me dice si podría contribuir sin leerlo.

• preguntas sin respuesta con títulos que me gustan
• preguntas con respuestas de miembros respetados de la comunidad
• Preguntas controvertidas (muchas respuestas)

Creo que una mejora menor a la forma antigua de mostrar la respuesta más reciente es no mostrar al autor de la pregunta como una respuesta reciente. Eso me da una mejor oportunidad de notar al respetado miembro de la comunidad.

 

Respetado significa no faltarle el respeto a nadie...

He notado que recibo notificaciones de distintivos aproximadamente el 30 % de las veces cuando alguien ha respondido a mi publicación. ¿También falta la identificación de recién llegado para nuevos carteles?

¿Se aceptan los perfiles de insignia de LinkedIn como firmas en la comunidad JMP?
Desde la ayuda de LinkedIn, la página debe tener este código dentro:

Para que todos los interesados en mostrar sus insignias puedan simplemente copiar y pegar su código de insignia personal en su firma (ejemplo con la mía aquí):

Parece interesante, ya que no necesita actualizar su firma en función de su trabajo/empresa, y esto puede mostrar más fácilmente su perfil de LinkedIn si lo desea.

Totalmente de acuerdo y de acuerdo con las respuestas de @Craige_Hales (y perdón por llegar tarde y no haber visto esta sabia respuesta antes).

No soy fanático del nuevo diseño, todo es más grande, pero desafortunadamente también se ve "más vacío", lleno de más espacios en blanco.

 

En la página de inicio de la comunidad, sería genial tener "estadísticas resumidas" sobre cada publicación como mencionó Craige, para saber:

• cuantas personas han participado
• quienes son los participantes en la conversación
• el nivel de la persona que hace la pregunta (¡para saber de antemano qué nivel de detalles/explicaciones se deben dar y dar una bienvenida adecuada a los nuevos miembros!), ...

 

Para mostrar un ejemplo, otro foro (sobre software de código abierto de análisis de datos) que frecuento tiene una interfaz de usuario bastante agradable:

• Tiene todas las diferentes categorías enumeradas a la izquierda: JMP podría usar los "marcadores" o las categorías como "DoE", "Aprendizaje automático", etc., que las personas pueden seleccionar al crear su publicación, para filtrar de manera eficiente las publicaciones que queremos. para ver y responder en el foro.
• Tienes una indicación de dónde lo dejaste la vez anterior: una característica increíble para ser honesto, ayuda mucho a detectar publicaciones recién creadas, y las publicaciones más antiguas con nuevas respuestas están en negrita.
• Tienes las pequeñas "insignias" de las personas que participan en la discusión, tal vez se podría hacer algo similar aquí (¿con el nivel agregado en la insignia y la posibilidad de pasar el mouse sobre cada insignia para tener el resumen del perfil como el que ya tenemos?) ,
• Sabe cuántas respuestas se han realizado en cada publicación, la cantidad de vistas (para detectar publicaciones "populares" o muy debatidas) y cuándo fue la última actividad.

Claramente, hay muchas buenas ideas en otros foros, en StatsExchange tienen ideas sobre cómo resaltar las respuestas con más Me gusta o "respuestas aprobadas" haciendo estas respuestas más grandes (o las otras más pequeñas):

 

Estoy bastante seguro de que hay muchas otras buenas ideas en otros foros que podrían implementarse/agregarse para mejorar la comunidad de usuarios de JMP

Si requiere que se muestre el código Javascript, entonces no, actualmente no admitimos las firmas de LinkedIn. Podemos investigar.

 

Recientemente me enteré de que las firmas podrían desaparecer en una próxima versión de la plataforma de la comunidad. Sin embargo, eso puede cambiar para cuando estemos listos para migrar a la nueva plataforma.

El botón Kudo también me parece un poco confuso. ¿En qué Kudos ya he sido dado por mí? Segundo.

Basado en la coloración de Aceptar como solución y Responder, supongo que todavía puedo Kudo en segundo lugar. Como también es verde, lo que indica que puedo hacer algo, pero en realidad es para eliminar mi Kudo. ¿Quizás los pulgares hacia arriba podrían llenarse si se han dado felicitaciones?

 

@Ryan_Gilmore También en general, ¿hay alguna idea específica detrás de esos colores? ¿Qué es azul y qué es verde?

Gracias por todos los comentarios dentro de este tema. Impulsamos algunos cambios hoy (15JUN23) que abordan algunas de las preocupaciones mencionadas:

 

• El página "quién kudoed" ha mejorado el estilo
• Ahora se muestra el botón de la barra de herramientas Insertar código en el editor
• Quién respondió por última vez ahora se muestra al ver la lista de temas de discusión
• Redujo el espacio en blanco para las listas (sé que probablemente le gustaría ver más reducción. )
• La firma del usuario tiene un estilo diferente al del contenido
• La insignia de notificación ahora se muestra con el nuevo estilo

Veremos cómo abordar algunos de los otros en futuras actualizaciones.

El panel de la comunidad debería volver a la normalidad ahora.

 

Para cualquier problema nuevo que encuentre, cree un tema separado. Será más fácil para nosotros mantener y responder. Gracias.
