Si potrebbe aggiungere un sottografico della mappa termica per consentire la selezione.

Mi piace di più la tua idea di heatmap, ma qui c'è qualcosa che quasi funziona e potrebbe aiutare a portare avanti la discussione. Stavo pensando che un filtro dati invece dell'asse avrebbe funzionato, ma non sono riuscito a trovare un modo per eliminare tutti i controlli.

Apro spesso una piattaforma di distribuzione sulle variabili nella trama. Uso il collegamento dinamico per selezionare i valori e definire sottoinsiemi di selezione. Ora posso utilizzare l'istogramma tra il nome della colonna e i valori dei dati per lo stesso scopo.

Selezione dei punti dati tramite le etichette degli assi?

In Graph Builder, esiste la possibilità di selezionare i punti dati tramite un clic (Maiusc, Alt, Ctrl) su un'etichetta di un asse categoriale/ordinale?

cioè cliccando su "14", vengono evidenziati tutti i punti dati corrispondenti all'età=14:

Argomento aggiuntivo:

Se vengono utilizzate più colonne come etichette X gerarchiche, è disponibile un'opzione per ogni sottotrama e stile di stampa per utilizzare o non utilizzare la rispettiva colonna come parte della gerarchia.

Questo può essere estremamente utile:

deselezionando la colonna che viene utilizzata come 2° livello sull'asse X, le mappe di calore saranno separate solo dal 1° livello, in questo modo:

 

Sfortunatamente, deselezionare una colonna non ha alcun effetto: il grafico appare esattamente lo stesso con "X - nome" selezionato e deselezionato
