Please note: This bonus plan applies to all JMP employees in non-target carrying roles (e.g., HR, Legal, R&D, Finance, Marketing, etc.).
Recently, I announced the details of the 2023 JMP Performance Bonus Plan to employees in non-target carrying positions. Last week Jason Romanos shared JMP Q1 quarterly financial results. Attached is a calculator containing our results that can be used to calculate your bonus earnings. In addition, I have included the plan terms and conditions for reference.
As I called out in my initial communication, one significant change in the 2023 plan is the introduction of Adjusted EBITDA. Senior Controller Lauren Aldrich recently put together a video and article on Inside JMP that explains EBITDA and how employees can impact that metric. As Jon Weisz explained at company kick-off, it is essential that JMP align rewards to profitability. Introducing Adjusted EBITA is a significant part of this transition.
In addition, I created a short video that recaps the 2022 JMP Performance Bonus Plan, explains the 2023 Plan in more detail, and provides a preview of the 2024 Plan.
I have reviewed the 2023 JMP Performance Plan in detail with managers so if you have questions, please raise those to your manager.
In addition, individual weighted average salary and bonus target information has been distributed to managers should you need this information. These components will be used to calculate Q1 bonuses targeted for payment in May according to local payroll schedules.
Thank you for all of your contributions to JMP’s continued success.
