Thanks for the update, and for spearheading this effort! Excited about the work that's been done, the direction and the future of jmp.com!
As we shared in the January jmp.com update, we want to continue to provide transparency into the progress, decisions and outcomes of the changes we are making to our site. Here is some insight into some of the more significant changes and what is in the works since the rollout of our new navigation across all en sites in early January.
Finalized Menu Rolled Out Globally
As of this week, the new navigation structure and new styles has been deployed across all global sites. This rollout allows our teams to be more effective when rolling out global content in multiple languages. A huge thank you to @Cra1g for taking the lead and managing this process.
Workflow Page Updates
With the creation of the capabilities menu, we were able to adjust the workflow page to be more about the why, rather than the what, focusing on value of building and having a strong analytic workflow - both at a team and organizational level. We hope to continue to build out this message by updating videos and updating the graphic (its been over 2 years since the workflow was rolled out!).
Top Level “For Users Overview” Page
One of the biggest requests that we received from internal teams during our initial rollout is the need for a top level “For Users Overview” page. This new page it makes it easier for our users to find relevant resources such as Mastering, Getting Started and Discovery events.
Metrics Update
One of our objectives after the launch of the navigation changes across all en sites in January was to gather data on how our web visitors are interacting with our new menus and new calls to action (CTAs). To facilitate this, we created custom tags in Google Tag Manager along with reports in Google Looker Studio to track clicks on all menu elements as well as button clicks on some of our highest priority pages. Feel free to explore these data yourself. Our goal for Q2 is to test variations in our CTA buttons (different types of offers, button wording, button design) using VWO, our web optimization tool, to try to improve conversion rates.
Content Request Process
We had a great response from teams who appreciated having a channel to request updates and share ideas during the initial menu rollout. We wanted to continue that process for all types of content. The product marketing and web teams are implementing a new content request process. Essentially centralizing requests to make it easier for internal groups to make suggestions, provide feedback or requests. The goal of this is to make it easier for that feedback to be channeled to the correct person/group, to drive alignment and efficiency. It will also allow for transparency into the progress of your request. This form can be used to request updates/removal or creation of:
We’re Moving!
As some of you may know we are moving to AEM Cloud later this year. Timeline is still TBD, but with this transition comes a lot of work. @aaron Kennedy and team are working with Arbory Digital, a partner that will help with this massive transition. Additionally, @John Mosier @Sara Doudt @larry LaRusso @aaron Kennedy are building out a content audit process by which content owners will review what content will be moved to the new system. With this move we hope to make even more improvement to the overall functionality and usability of the site.
The move the the AEM Cloud also gives us the opportunity to ensure our content can be easily found. As we evaluate which web pages we move to the Cloud, we’ll use this opportunity to ensure that our content is properly and completely tagged - using the official JMP Taxonomy structure.
What's to come in Q2:

That is great!
Well, after your team has published Mega Dropdown/Header for aligning new contents lineup, I would appreciate to consider for adding some for local market.
There are "Event/Seminars", "Web Seminar Live", "Web Seminar On demand".
And "Training" under “For Users”.
The reason is that the most active activities to generate leads are seminars including Live and On Demand, so we would prefer to add them on Mega Dropdown.
Is it possible for you to consider it?
Thank you, Atsuko
As always great job team, looking forward to seeing the VS pages and other updates in Q2!
I continue to smile every time I go to the updated website. It's streamlined, it's easy to find what you need, and most importantly it's customer-focused on our core messages and value proposition, the industries we serve, the products that we sell, and how we support our users. Thanks for the update on how this is going. Improving JMP.com drives alignment across our whole organization.
Noticed the new "Learn JMP" page and absolutely love it. Great job team!
