The attached data table is useful for showing customers an example dashboard published to JMP Live. The data table was originally put together for JMP Live 16. It has been updated to publish to JMP Live 17 using a table script included in the table. The video describes the steps necessary to customize the publish table script so it will work with your JMP Live 17 settings.
The data table is also useful for illustrating publishing to JMP Live using the Windows task scheduler, and this was important with JMP Live 16. JMP Live 17 has built-in data refresh features and these are a better method than using the task scheduler. For that reason, the steps to get task scheduler working are not included in the video. Let me know if this is needed for some reason and I can add that.
On a related topic and you may run into this issue. Our JMP Live 17 instance is running on an AWS server and there are firewalls between it and all of our available databases. Your client laptop is behind the firewall. All the servers in Cary are behind the firewall. This will prevent showing how data can be refreshed by SQL from a database using the data refresh feature in JMP Live 17. This is not a general issue with JMP Live 17 and customers will deploy JMP Live where it can access data. JMP LIve and the database may reside on the same server, or very near each other because this will enhance performance. In short, a customer won't have a firewall issue with their JMP Live. Unfortunately, our deployment prevents showing this functionality.
