On the User Acquisition team, we try to deliver a compelling experience that speaks to our target customer. We’d like to monitor how other businesses are reaching this same customer whatever their product may be. We hope to pull from your previous industry knowledge when you were in JMP’s target market. We are looking for companies that sell other things to our target market--not our competitors, but they are trying to reach the same user as JMP with other products or services.
We’d like you to highlight brands that you think do a good job at this, are an industry standard, or you used at your previous company. Please reply to this thread with the names of those businesses that you think share our target customer of scientists and engineers but are not JMP's competitors because they sell a different product or service. For example, maybe JMP was the industry standard in statistical software at your previous company, but what was the industry standard for consulting services, lab equipment, etc.?
