DOE : Is there a roadmap for including OMARS Designs to JMP natively?

Hi, a customer from BASF is interested if OMARS designs will be natively supported in a future version of JMP.

Currently OMARS designs (DOE) are foreseen by jmp by means of a jmp addin.

Is it on the roadmap of the jmp dev team to embed it as a “standard design”?

Any information we can share with the customer?

It's certainly on our radar - the issue right now is that we don't have a fast construction method, and don't plan to have the overhead of storing the designs. So, it's more of if we discover a good (i.e. fast) algorithm for constructing, we'll add them.

We have some work related to the designs Brad talked about at Discovery that may make their way into JMP 18 that fill some of the gaps in DSDs.
