Customer question around using SQL query with user ID but no password

Question

I got an odd question - a customer has a legacy database that requires a user id, but no password... (I know it's horrible security policy, they know it's horrible security policy, but they can't change it).  The issue that they have is that JMP throws an error message in 17 when they try to run a query with the password field blank (something about "forgetting a password")

Does anybody know of a work around for the issue or have you seen something like this?

I thought that too, but I guess that doesn't work.  I'm trying to get details (I got dropped into the middle of the discussion).

Can the password be submitted as "" ?
