I often answer the same questions when doing demos which I am sure many of you can recognize. I even show the same demo to the same people just a year later, hoping that something has changed!
That inspired me to record short videos I would send to customers before the demo to optimize the time during the meetings and as a resource for self-learning. But also, as an appetizer to inspire prospects to download JMP, use Mastering JMP or STIPS.
I started making JMP content on YouTube 7 months ago and committed to a regular weekly posting schedule of about 1 video.
Doing so provided a valuable resource for my work and created new contacts and opportunities through engagement on LinkedIn.
Recently, a JMP SE from a different region, whom I didn’t know, contacted me after finding my content on YouTube and asked me if I was employed at JMP. That encouraged me to write this post, share my experience with video, and maybe inspire some of you to experiment with using videos in your workflow.
The following videos precisely reflect the demos I give to my customers.
Introduction to JMP 7min
DOE demo 14 min
SPC/QC demo 6 min
JMP for Manufacturing 10 min Functional Data Explorer 14 min

I would love to hear your opinion, constructive criticism, and, most importantly, your thoughts on using videos in your work. Furthermore, if you have any input for new content, I am all ears!
If you want to hear more, you are welcome to contact me. During this experiment, I talked with Michael.Schmidt@jmp.com (EMEA Marketing), @jules Paris, @ryandewitt , @Phil_Kay , @malcolm_moore1 and @HadleyMyers . Thank you for your valuable contribution
