Do we have a recording for the chemical doe use case removing the isolation step? Some years ago we had a marketing webinar on Innovation and one on Hidden Factury in Europe (Specialty Chemical Materials Series I believe) . In the Innovation one there is a use case:
Case Study 3: Process Acceleration by Removing Isolation Step (Attached)

Do we have a recording of that use case presentation or does anyone still use that example? I can follow along with the example notes and pretty much understand the optimization in the modeling, but would be interested to see how it was presented. And especially what was said while showing the Profiler. I can make u my own story however it would be interesting to see what was intended to be said
Thanks,
Martin
Re: Do we have a recording for the chemical doe use case removing the isolation step?Hi Martin,
I've used it a couple of times when talking to process chemists as it's a clear example. Not sure I've used it in a recorded session, but happy to talk through how I approach it if it helps

Re: Do we have a recording for the chemical doe use case removing the isolation step?Would love to have a chat. thanks
Re: Do we have a recording for the chemical doe use case removing the isolation step?I've used it a few times, but I don't think it has ever been recorded. I don't remember it very well, so @Stuart_Little is probably best to help.
My understanding is that this was from a real example from Lou's time at Kodak.
Re: Do we have a recording for the chemical doe use case removing the isolation step?Shall we catch up in Sitges?
Re: Do we have a recording for the chemical doe use case removing the isolation step?In case you need additional background, this was an experiment done by Lou Valente before he joined JMP. He disguised the data so it is ok to use with customers. In case you need more context then reach out to Lou. You may also wish to reference it is the work of Lou when showing this example to customers.
Re: Do we have a recording for the chemical doe use case removing the isolation step?Hi, you can watch Lou show this during a past Analytically Speaking at about the 16:10 mark: https://www.jmp.com/en_us/events/ondemand/analytically-speaking/how-do-you-build-a-great-analytic-culture.html. Enjoy!
Re: Do we have a recording for the chemical doe use case removing the isolation step?thanks a lot @anne_milley this is a great asset to share with customers when presenting this case study and for other purposes!
Re: Do we have a recording for the chemical doe use case removing the isolation step?Happy to help @martindemel! If you'd like, we can make an excerpt of that portion and have it on the Brightcove server so it could be in a blog post or shown whenever.
Re: Do we have a recording for the chemical doe use case removing the isolation step? This is a great idea, a excerpt could be shown in a Semi-Live JMP Inspired or similar customer event.
At the same time, I like to point to the whole thing as it has lots of statements on why changing the culture is important and especially DOE can help with that.
