Many of our colleagues may know Jon Walters, who worked at SAS for many years.
Jon's manager, Stuart Neighbours, asked him a few questions to help you get to know him better. See the answers below.
What is your favorite hobby or leisure activity outside of work?
When I’m not working, I enjoy watching my kids play sports as well as residential remodeling projects. My most recent remodel projects include adding a 20x12 room to my home and a full remodel of our kitchen.
If you could possess any superpower, what would it be?
Flying – years ago, I would periodically have dreams that I could fly. It was an awesome experience, full of excitement, energy, laughter, and a bit of uncertainty.
What was the best vacation you've ever taken?
Our family absolutely loves taking a cruise. With four kids, there are plenty of adventures for them to explore and it eliminates the typical vacation hassle associated with preparing meals and cleaning up. :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes: The most enjoyable cruise included a stop in St. Maarten.
What is your favorite book or movie?
I have several favorite books including The Broker by John Grisham, and the Mitch Rapp series by Vince Flynn, but the book I continually go back to is the short letter of James in the Bible. I also enjoy reading about stock and options trading.
Warm welcome to you, Jon!
