Panasonic (Sparks, NV) is piloting Palantir as we speak. They have a data transformation team that has cross functional engineering membership. The primary objective is to evolve to Industry 4.0. The ideal is to create a digital duplicate of the factory that is easier to access and perform analytics. Their production lines are cellular and have many process steps per cell. Each cell has many nodes where data are available. They want easy access to all these data with established relationships and properties -Palantir are calling this ontology. We understand that this front end part of an analytical workflow is their biggest pain point. We have some confidence that accessing Palantir curated data from JMP will be an improvement to current state. We also understand that they do not see Foundry as a replacement for JMP. What we as well as our contacts don't know is to what extent Palantir Foundry can perform tasks like predictive modeling that could be performed in JMP Pro?
Which of our customers are developing ml or predictive models in Palantir Foundry? How are they doing it? How easy is it?
@martindemel what other tasks is the customer you referred to in your Anyone come across interfacing JMP with Palantir? post performing in Foundry?
We are looking for talking points before our meeting with our engineering director contact next week. Any info is helpful:)
Thanks!
