10-16-23 Update
Two more output columns were added, one for the text of the table scripts and the other for the list of column properties. Both columns can be searched to find something you might be looking for. For example, if you are looking for a table that works with MaxDiff, you can search the table script text for that (row 119 is an example). Or if you are looking for a table with Mixture variables, you can search the list of column properties (row 116 is an example).
Keep in mind this summarizes Sample Data, but can also be used to summarize your own data. To do this, use the "Change Directory" button and navigate to the top of the directory tree you want to summarize.
Be aware this can take some time to run because every table has to be opened to summarize its contents.
*******************************************************
This add-in will summarize all the data tables found in a directory, or a tree of directories. An example output is shown below; this is a summary of the tables in Sample Data. For each table found, the following information is available:
- Path to the file
- File name
- Number of Rows
- Number of Columns
- Number of Values (rows * columns)
- Column Names
- Table Scripts
- Table Scripts Text
- List of Column Properties

This summary can be helpful when you are looking for a data table
- with a minimum and/or maximum size
- with a specific column name
- with a specific table script
You can use "Search" (on the Edit Menu) on column names and table scripts. These columns contain lists and "Search" will find matches within the lists. Just be sure the check box "Match entire cell value" is unchecked.
The file name column is set up as an event handler and clicking on the hyper-link will open the data table.
The add-in must open each table to collect the information, so be prepared to wait if there are a large number of tables to summarize.
