Zero-Inflated Poisson Regression Script?I've got a customer that is trying to use the Generalized Linear Model personality in JMP version 12 for a zero-inflated Poisson regression type model. Rumor has it there is a script out there somewhere on the User Community for this solution...but I'll be darned if I can find it. I've looked on the SE space as well. Nothing appears. Any chance somebody may have this squirreled away somewhere?
Re: Zero-Inflated Poisson Regression Script? Thanks Jordan...the customer does not have JMP Pro...only standard JMP. And he's trying to do all of this within the confines of the Generalized Linear Model personality...not the Generalized Regression personality unique to JMP Pro. The whole issue has now morphed into a chance for us to upgrade this particular user to JMP Pro anyways. So the urgency to solve this issue within the Generalized Linear model personality is now much less. Even if I came up with something I'd be reluctant to hand him the solution for free without letting the upgrade narrative potential playing out. Something about Jon Weisz saying something like, "Why give it away for free?"
Re: Zero-Inflated Poisson Regression Script?Hi Peter,
This was contained in the JMP 11 SE starter -- fictitious fishing data with script.
Cheers,
Jordan
Re: Zero-Inflated Poisson Regression Script? Thanks Don. I'm gonna try an convince him to get JMP Pro...especially since he says it's a recurring need. But first I want to see if the script exists...then sit tight and try and upsell him before just handing him something for free.
Re: Zero-Inflated Poisson Regression Script? It's in Generalized Regession.
DonRe: Zero-Inflated Poisson Regression Script?Hey Peter,
I see the same rumor here it sounds like Clay Barker is your man. Seems like they should have JMP Pro.
