Follow-up – internal scripter in First Solar and SAS follow-up – OR Center of Excellence (Jeff to reach out to Ivan at SAS)
- Lilly: Very Successful JMP Day (May 23) - presenters: Laura, Chris K, Jeff, Dan V. Good representation across functional areas (Elanco and Lilly) – production, product development, strong users, interaction with top level support (Statistics Scott Clack) for this event. Nice dinner with 8 customers. People came from all over the US to this event (remote workers). Positive Survey – cover basics is always good. 2 good lightning talks. If Elanco gets spun off need internal JMP Champions to lead JMP Day (Sam Gardner would go with Elanco). Elanco is 600 of 2600 licenses.
- Micron (Virginia) – JMP Day May 8th – good attendance, high user engagement, lightning talks (senior management attended these); intermediate users few more power users than what we might see, some new users, Tsega – host, JMP trainer. Follow-up notes? Post materials on Micron Community site (to-do)

- P&G: JMP Share Demo – Dan V. to Scott Reese and Michael Joner. Lukewarm reaction. Not positive for beta test – maybe once we can get them to host it internally. We need to build business case, provide example of where they could use jmp.share.com (i.e. blogging) Lou – example for supplier pushing info into customer
- P&G: Gillette onsite meeting (Tim and Bill W. April 18th) New in 14 (Michael Joner moved from Boston to Cincinnati)
- P&G: New in 14 webexes – internal presentations and Laura, Tim (May 15 and 18); recorded about 6 hours, focus on new features (this group was modeling and simulation group); most likely going to roll out 14.0, scripting stability between verions and participation in EA program facilitating this
- Seagate, Bloomington, MN - JMP Pro trial (started 3.13.18, another starts about 4.15) – 2 people; interest in Ireland (connect with local JMP team) – trial has ended – yield analysis. Quote out for US only – Ireland is separate. JMP Pro total will become 4.

- Whirlpool: New group of JMP Pro interest (product design – dryers); JMP Pro users meeting onsite May 2nd and ongoing webexes - that ended. Text Explorer – topic analysis. Model and simulation Consumer score.

Defects and Technical Support
[Note: Laura still needs to enter these into defects, etc.]
- P&G – incoming bugs and improvements from this week’s webexes (FDE improvements)
- First Solar – Uday – [add number] – debugger crashed/failed? Profile his script.
- Bank of America – had issues trying to understand how the custom regex works – documentation wasn’t sufficient to get started from ground zero - need example of using custom regex – video?
- Micron – JMP Add-in manager – Laura’s notes… low priority but interesting idea.
- Micron IMFT – Want multiple Xs in JMP Pro 14 Functional Data Explorer and example of using this for spatial data
- Seagate – Oracle time-out and JMP ODBC – current tech support track and gathering info from user Heidi Hardner
- Seagate – Tuning table for bootstrap forest – user was not able to create this from the documentation although they had the right idea (fast flexible filling design) – success with Chris Rea with my version. Need to add to sample library or file exchange.
- Seagate - I was trying to extract a specific Quantile (95%) from the fit Y by X platform, what I could find on the forum was to edit tabulate platform but I would like that baked into the Y/X platform.
- Seagate Validation not respecting hidden rows
- [SAS 7612390123] During JMP Pro trial the built in validation proportion in boosted trees fail because too many excluded rows were picked to be part of the validation set
- Seagate question about orthogonality in tree methods – Laura will post on community
- Whirlpool JMP Pro (on Pro 12) – add these - Step-wise regression – said there are no examples – frustrating from a user standpoint
- Loves Neural Net capability but said Help Menu is lacking (not a lot of good examples – mentioned hidden layers).
Community Activity
- JMP Share report publishing from Salesforce (goal – midyear demo): Laura and Dan
- Micron people joining Community post JMP Day, Whirlpool?
- Seagate – only 56 people registered for community (Christy and Jeff)
- Customers submitting Discovery papers (WL Gore, possible P&G)
Education
- Global Foundries June, July onsite training – reach out to trainers
