A university researcher has asked if JMP has clinical trial design capabilities (e.g., permuted block designs, stratified randomization, minimization methods). From what I know, neither JMP (Pro) nor JMP Clinical have dedicated clinical trial design tools, but perhaps the existing DOE tools or others could provide an indirect route. For example: stratified randomization can be achieved with Make Validation Column, and maybe the Custom Designer (or MSA Design?) could spit out something akin to a permuted block design. I really don't know enough about clinical trial designs to say anything for sure.
Anybody have recommendations for designing clinical trials in JMP? (And maybe the advice is: "don't".) @Chris_Kirchberg?
