What inspired this Wish List Request?
This is a suggestion from Masakazu Okada-san (@masakazu_okada ), SE at JMP Japan. When some colleague at JMP Japan chatted about the new features of JMP17's Tabulate, Okada-san found it.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
Set empty for empty cells in stacked grouping columns on the Tabulate platform.
In the current Tabulate, missing values are shown in the empty cells as below.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
This is not a suggestion from a user. But we think that if we improve the appearances of the tables, users can use JMP's Tabulate directly for making the tables in their reports.
Is this an external customer request?
No, this is a request from @masakazu_okada -san, SE at JMP Japan.
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of?
We don't know, but we guess many engineers at manufacturing companies use the Excel, and copy and paste the tables from Excel to Word. We also guess many practical statisticians in academic and pharmaceutical areas use R (or SAS) when they make reports or papers.
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this?
This is not a request from a user. There is no risk.
