Community Badge Creation Process and Schedule

There 2 types of community.jmp.com badges. One that is issued by a Community Metric and one that is issued by uploading a CSV to a Role. 

 

Updates

• A Calendar reminder has been set at the end of every month to issue a round of community badges. (Stan and Ryan)
• A One Drive folder has been shared holds a JMP file with Dates for Staged and Production Badges along with Titles and Descriptions for @LandraRobertson to maintain edit copy. The badges will not be edited or proofed in Community Admin as they are ready for Go Live. All editing will happen in a shared JMP File. (Landra to maintain Edit)
• Badge Graphic File badges_JMP_100_Pack.ai
• Badge Folder with CommuityBadgeDetailsAndScheduler.jmp (Ryan will maintain, proofed by Landra and used be Stan to upload CSVs)

Badge Creation Process v1a

 

1. Create and Name the Badge Graphic (.png) the graphic template in the OneDrive.
2. Name the badge with the prefix "badge-metric-quanity.png
3. Upload the badge to the (test folder for jmp.com) Test>Images>community-badge
4. Promote that folder to Prod (Test>Images>community-badge)
5. For an Event - Create the Lithium Role in Prod Admin using the Metric or Event as the name i.e.  "Badge Role-Discovery-Summit-Attendee-2019"
6. Create the Badge in Prod Admin
   1. Add Name
   2. Add Description
   3. Set the badge image URL i.e. "jmp.com/images/community-badge/badge-kudo-100.png"
   4. Set the Community Metric assignment 
   5. Return on Monthly Launch Date and select GO Live at the End of Month Launch Time
7. For Events return on monthly launch date to upload user CSV to Role
