Ben O'Nolan (@RMSEAlligator43) was born in the beautiful county of Somerset in southwest England. His father was in IT sales and founded two technology firms and his mother was a French teacher. "I've not strayed far from my strengths by joining JMP's sales team in France," Ben said.
Ben started his IT career at Oracle where he received best-in-class training and discovered that he loves the challenge of cold calling. After Oracle, he joined IBM's Global Technology Services team where he broadened his knowledge of 'all things data center.' After signing a strategic win for IBM's Softlayer solution with a biometric application provider, he moved to Paris to take the challenge of selling in his second language.
After more time at Oracle, and other IT companies, he was delighted when he connected with JMP. He had a great feeling about the company right from his first call and is incredibly excited to help JMP grow in France and to be a part of the journey of such a distinguished leader in the data space.
He loves sports and competition. While in school rugby, football, cricket, and tennis were his passions. In university, Ben studied Business and French, eventually writing his thesis on classical French cuisine and the resistance at that time to foreign restaurant chains. Food is a love of his and he has traveled all over the world to feed this passion.
