The JMP Early Adopter Program is one of the best ways for JMP Product Management and Development to receive feedback on new features and functionality. The JMP® 17 EA program closed Dec. 31, 2022, and the JMP® 18 EA program will launch mid-Feb, 2023.
In preparation, we will have an initial JMP 18 “EA Enrollment” period, from Jan. 10 to Feb. 3. This is your opportunity to help determine who should be invited to join the EA program.
What makes a good candidate for the EA program?
From the Early Adopters FAQ:
- An EA member must be a current annual license user of JMP, be an experienced user, and be willing and able to provide feedback on the beta versions of the software.
- EA members agree to not use EA (beta) versions of the software for production purposes, as beta versions have not been fully tested.
- Ideal members are users at target and premier accounts who are willing to test new versions of the software and provide early feedback. JMP partners, thought leaders, educators and authors are also invited to participate.
For additional details about the JMP 18 EA program, including why the program is important for JMP and and our users, and for information about the JMP Live and JMP Clinical EA Programs, see the Early Adopters FAQ.
If you are not on a sales team, and would like to nominate a user for the EA program, please reach out to Mia Stephens (@mia_stephens) or Sarah Sylvestre (@Sarah-Sylvestre).

What do we need you to do?
A list of potential JMP 18 EA Program members, based on the JMP 17 EA Program, is in this JMP 18 EA ENROLLMENT SalesForce campaign. Most campaign members currently have the status, “To be Reviewed” (some have already been declined based on requests from teams).
All sales teams must review the members in this campaign, and do the following for members in their territory:
- Change the status to “To be Invited” for members you want to be invited to join the program when it goes live (after Feb. 3).
- Change the status to “Declined” for members who will not be invited, and will be denied access if they request at a later date. Please provide supporting information in the Campaign Member Description for future reference.
- Remove members from the campaign who are not good candidates for the program, or members with invalid contact information.
- Add new members to the campaign with the appropriate status.
Invitations will be sent to all "To be Invited" members by Product Management prior to the release of JMP 18 Early Adopter version 1 (EA1). Note that any member with a “To be Reviewed” status will not be invited to join the program. Once the EA program is underway, teams are free to invite new members, or to decline existing members if the EA Program is being abused or misused.
Tips for working with SalesForce campaigns
- To see campaign members in your territory, click to sort by Territory and scroll as needed.
- To change the status, select the campaign member and use the "Update Status" button at the top, then select the correct status. You can select more than one campaign member at a time to change to the same status.
- To add a Campaign Member Description (for declined members, or to add any other information you think might be relevant for the EA program, such as functionality of interest), click on the member name to open Campaign Member Information, and edit the Campaign Member Description field.
- To remove a campaign member, select the member and use the "Remove" button at the top.
- To add a campaign member, use the "Add Contacts" button at the top, and then assign the appropriate status. Note that you cannot add leads to the campaign (all members should be contacts).
And, as a reminder, please work with your sales team to review members in this JMP 18 EA ENROLLMENT SalesForce campaign. The campaign will close on Feb. 3.
