standardise attributes wizardHi
Please can we have a wizard for standardising attributes so that we can drag and drop columns into the different options like data type, modelling type, decimal places. Like you do for analysis you have all the columns on the left, then you cast them into specific roles for the analysis - this would be just casting into the various property roles

We are working on adding "attribute management" capabilities to the Columns Viewer (under the Cols menu) in JMP 18. Many changes are in the Early Adopter versions that are now available for feedback. If you have a chance to take a look, please let us know if this is along the lines of what you have in mind.

Re: standardise attributes wizard@EmmaKeeling , in JMP 18, with the new Columns Manager, managing attributes for many variables will be much easier. For example, you can select multiple columns, and use the options under the down arrows to change attributes for all variables at once. The Columns Manager is available in JMP 18 EA. If you have a chance to give it a try we'd love to hear your thoughts.

Re: standardise attributes wizardHi yes - I was having a play. I had asked above if you have a little video like some of the other new features has as it needs a bit of explanation of how to use. I have a clean data set that I then tried and it helped to figure it out a bit. But from a non-cleaned data set it is a bit hard to see what you are doing.
