Jarred Tyson joins JMP as an Account Executive

Jarred Tyson is an accomplished Account Executive with experience working for Amazon, Tableau, DocuSign, and Zillow.
Jarred's manager, Juliette Plager, asked him a few questions and his answers are below.
What was your first paid job? I mowed lawns around my neighborhood as a teen - it was a great summer workout and a way to meet the neighbors.

What has been your least favorite job? Painting houses in college. I would sometimes paint two or three-story houses with no safety harness... it was not for those afraid of heights.
What is an interesting fact about you? I lived in two different countries before my family settled in the US when I was four years old. The life of a military family.
Tell us about your family and pets. I live with my partner (she's a teacher), our husky, and our sphynx cat.
Do you have any hobbies or passions? Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I've come to love all things nature. I enjoy camping, hiking, backpacking, and most recently picked up fly fishing! I also enjoy live music, sci-fi, mixology, and travel.
Tell us about your most epic vacation. Prior to the pandemic, I did a solo backpacking trip through Japan. Seven different towns/cities via the bullet train over 16 days. Between driving a go-cart through Osaka and Halloween in the middle of Tokyo, I couldn't recommend Japan enough!
Jarred recently took up fly fishing as a hobby.
