Travis LaPolla is joining JMP as the new Senior Manager for JMP IT Security. Travis will have a variety of roles in setting up the security policy and practices for JMP Statistical Discovery LLC, as well as aiding in compliance requests from customers.
Travis has been in the Information Technology/Information Security field for 13 years. He has supported a multitude of unique mission threads for a customer base primarily comprised of the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. Prior to joining JMP, Travis was the Director of Information Security for a defense contracting firm. He was working on cybersecurity information system accreditation under the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency’s Risk Management Framework.
Travis moved to Hillsborough, North Carolina two years ago, after living in the DC Metropolitan area for 32 years (his whole life). Travis enjoys pretty much any outdoor activity, cooking, his bourbon collection (with the occasional indulgence), and is an avid fan of live music of all genres.
