What inspired this Wish List Request?
While creating Projects for my Genomics Analysis in JMP Pro 17 SE Enablement session, I noticed that for very wide data, analyses can take a long time to run. When placing all of the results, data tables and Journal into a Project, it can cause issues when re-opening the Project. I have found that many times a project can take almost an hour or longer to open because things like Predictive Models, Multivariate Platforms, and Marker Simulation are re-run every time I open the project. Combing these into a single Project can take hours to open or cause the computer to run out of RAM.
Saving Results to a Journal can take up an enormous amount of disc space when saving a Journal and also causes the Journal to take a long time to open and/or interact with. Sometimes it cause JMP to crash.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
Please provide an option to save reports in a Project in a "Stasis" like state instead of re-running them every time a Project is open.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
Saving time from having to wait for Project to open or running out of RAM and the Project never opens. Also the potential of 10s of windows being open on the screen if Projects are not being used to organize the output.
