@Aaron_Kennedy or @roger_alford, is this process still in place with JMP's ongoing transition to its own systems? (We have new Learning Library videos coming soon.)
@Ross_Metusalem , @Aaron_Kennedy @Ryan_Gilmore @Jeff_Perkinson Weren't we migrating to putting USER videos directly in the Community, because 1) it is fewer steps 2) jmp.com is the marketing site? That adds the flexibility to replace easily, see number of views under the videos (which can also encourge, subtly, more views)

@gail_massari , yes, if the content provides value for our existing users then I would like to see it live within the Community.
@Ryan_Gilmore , does that mean we're migrating all Learning Library content to the Community?
@Ross_Metusalem , there are no plans to do that in the short term and will require a discussion before moving forward if that is the decision to go. @ruthhummel may have more to say since she and her team are developing a roadmap for the Learn JMP area of the Community.
My statement was intended to say, "think of the Community first if the content to be shared is related to helping users get value from the software".
@Ross_Metusalem let me know if you need hlep uploading directly to community.
Hey @Ross_Metusalem, great question! I'm in the process of updating this article right now. This is no longer the process. The new process uses the following form: https://jmp.com/brightcove
Update 14dec2022: This page has now been updated with the new link and specifications.
To add a video to Brightcove, use the Brightcove Submission Form. This will create a case in Salesforce.
NOTE: You must have a seat in Salesforce to use this form. If you do not, you can submit the video request on behalf of another user.
To add a completed uploaded video in AEM, you may do it as a pop-up or embedded on the page.
If there are multiple videos, just enter the information for the first video and provide the rest of the meta data with the video file via OneDrive. You may also provide this information in the Comments field.
A few things to note:
- Make sure you follow the File Naming Conventions (see below). File names should be in English.
- Make sure you check “For use on jmp.com.”
- Make sure you provide the OneDrive shared location link.
- If there are multiple videos, also add the amount of videos you will add in the Comments field.
A few key points about video grouping and quality:
Submitting a Collection of Clips
A single Salesforce Case may be used when submitting a collection of related clips and when doing so please identify clips that are part of the collection with a numeral:
1237891_WhatsNewInJMPpart1.mp4
1237891_WhatsNewInJMPpart2.mp4
1237891_WhatsNewInJMPpart3.mp4
OR
with the MIDAS prefix and a distinct name:
1237891_SGF2016OpeningSession.mp4
1237891_SGF2016ExecPanel.mp4
1237891_SGF2016Keynote.mp4
OR Both
1237891_WhatsNewInJMP_ReliabilityGrowthpart1.mp4
1237891_WhatsNewInJMP_ReliabilityForecastpart2.mp4
1237891_WhatsNewInJMP_RecurrenceAnalysispart3.mp4
Video File Format
We prefer to render transcodes from the highest quality source file you can provide.
The technical specifications below are preferred but not required.
If at all possible please submit clips as follows:
- MP4 format
- H.264 codec
- 1920x1080 resolution
- 5mbs bit rate for video (higher is better)
- 2 channel Audio with a 192kbs bit rate and sample rate of 48khz
If these specifications are not possible, then send the highest quality available.
