Hansol Paper’s Janghangjang Plant PM23 is a facility that produces thermal paper, and has achieved Global No.1 productivity of thermal paper by utilizing process operation information and JMP Tool. In order to improve productivity, it was necessary to increase the equipment speed, and the bottleneck of the equipment speed increase was the vacuum capacity. I thought it was lacking, but the vacuum Capa. The need for incremental investment has not been convincingly explained. However, by utilizing process operation information and JMP Tool, prior to investment promotion, the vacuum capacity for PM23 unit speed increase. It is a task to discover business insight by verifying the feasibility of increased investment (verification), analyzing the result of increased speed after completion of the investment, and predicting the future (prediction). PM23 increased the speed by 20m/min through this task in 2020, achieving Global No.1 productivity, and utilizing the facilities invested at this time, the current design Max.
