Module 2 (Exploratory Data Analysis) of our free online Statistical Thinking for Industrial Problem Solving (STIPS) course is now available in Spanish. Module 1 was released in July of 2022; we hope to add additional modules sometime in the future.
This popular free online statistics course is available to anyone interested in gaining practical skills in using data and finding better ways to solve problems. It was originally developed in English and has been translated into other languages, including Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Now, the first two modules are available in Spanish as well.
Providing this content in native language advances one of the most important goals of STIPS, to increase statistical literacy around the world, especially in the science and engineering communities. STIPS also offers companies an efficient and standard way to train data-driven decision makers within their organizations and is an extremely useful course for students, which will help them better solve problems in their future workplaces.
Currently, only the first two modules are available in Spanish, though students could continue their learning by taking additional modules in English.
