Limitation of number of rows in SVMHi all,
Can somebody tell me what the limitation of number of rows is when running SVM. I noticed that SVM is not running in the model screening when a data has more than 10.000 rows.
Thanks in advance,
Valerie
Re: Limitation of number of rows in SVMI don't think there is a hard limit on the number of rows, but my memory from New in 15 training is fitting can become very slow on data sets of more than 5,000 rows.
Re: Limitation of number of rows in SVMSVM does not have a limit to the number of rows, but as @Ross_Metusalem mentioned, it will take longer the larger the dataset.
Model Screening has some limitations built in for speed. If the number of rows is greater than some number (possibly 10000), then the slower model options are not fit. That's a Model Screening development choice, not SVM.
Re: Limitation of number of rows in SVMThanks a lot!!
