Lovy Singh joins JMP as a JMP Systems Engineer.

Title: JMP Systems Engineer
Manager: Chuck Boiler (@chuck_boiler)
Region: US Western Sub-Region
Start Date: Nov. 14, 2022
Lovy Singh (@Lovy_Singh) joins JMP out of Eugene, Oregon. Lovy completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon in organic chemistry and applied mathematics. While at the university, he worked in Dr. Pluth’s lab developing small-molecule fluorescent probes for hydrogen sulfide. After earning his bachelor’s, he worked a little bit for Bend Research studying drug release technologies but realized he wanted to learn physics. Lovy came back to Eugene to get his master’s in chemistry with a focus on semiconductor technologies and device physics and shortly after worked for Keysight Technologies as a photolithography engineer.
Then some happy life events happened; Lovy got married and traveled with his wife to see their family in India, New Zealand, Australia, and a few other countries. Luckily the timing worked out since this was a month before the pandemic started. Once back stateside after some time, he did some work in forestry, chemistry consulting, and helping out with the family business. His most recent work was again at the University of Oregon, where he used his microfabrication skills in Dr. Gardner’s lab to help produce neural implants.
When not at work, Lovy enjoys time with his family, Oregon’s outdoors, watching sci-fi movies with cousins, playing with his dog, learning guitar, doing miniconcerts for his twins, perfecting his chicken cooking techniques, reading, running in parks, hiking in other parks, trying to play videogames, and riding his bike.
