Megan Katsch (@mkatsch) joins us from Newell Brands where she worked for the past five years. Most recently she was a key account manager for their writing division, working with retail and hardware customers. Prior to that, she was in the Rubbermaid commercial division, working with both national accounts and end users. Megan jokes she worked with trash cans and soap, and then pens and glue.
1. Where did you grow up? – Wilmington, NC
2. Beach or mountains? - Beach
3. Do you have any pets? – One dog, Boston, and two cats
4. Favorite sports team? – Most of the Boston teams (Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins), the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Dallas Cowboys
5. Best place you’ve ever traveled? – Aruba. She visited in 2020 when it wasn’t very crowded, and thought the country was gorgeous.
6. Favorite food to eat or meal to prepare? – She doesn’t like to cook at all (if she does, it’s a simple chicken and rice). Her favorite thing to eat is any type of seafood.
7. Fun fact about you – She’s been to every Major League baseball stadium. Outside of Fenway Park, Petco Park (home of the Padres) is her favorite.
8. Why are you excited to work at JMP? – For the new challenge and next step in her career. This is a completely new industry for her, but she’s excited to learn and is looking forward to building new relationships, both internally and with JMP’s end users. Megan is excited about the success of JMP.
