Hello,
I've been working on getting some JSL scripts across from SAS 9.1/JMP8 to SAS 9.3/JMP9, and came across a strange issue during testing.
The JMP script we're using has a Button Box, which then calls a save as on a .sas7bdat datatset e.g.
table << Save As ( data_path_and_name );
For some reason this statement works fine in JMP 8, but in the new version this causes JMP to completely close down and exit the program (both our code, and the JMP program itself) without any error messages or warning.
I haven't been able to find any documentation so far about whether there is an option to specify within the Save As that the format needs to be .sas7bdat (this exact same statement works fine when the data file being saved to is .jmp).
If anyone has come across this before, or has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.
