We’re all excited about the newest updates in JMP 17 and want to get it into the hands of customers as soon as possible. To do that, we’re pivoting.
“The original plan was to distribute JMP 17 through My JMP,” JMP User Enablement Director Jeff Perkinson said. “We’re still working on getting My JMP in shape to distribute JMP 17. It’s been harder than expected to get the data from SAS systems into Salesforce.”
Instead, JMP software administrators, users, and subscribers will be notified about JMP 17 as early as next week. The announcement will go to English-speaking countries Tuesday, Nov. 15, and notifications to other countries will happen Tuesday, Nov. 22.
All annual license requests will be fulfilled through our traditional self-service form at jmp.com/upgrade. Once an annual license administrator submits a request, they will receive a software order email from SAS with instructions to use the SAS download manager to download JMP 17.
Individual and corporate subscribers will receive instructions early next week on how to download JMP 17 from their subscription account.
“There are too many great features in JMP 17, like Workflow Builder and Easy DOE, to keep users waiting any longer,” Perkinson said. “We’re excited to see what discoveries users will make with JMP 17.”
The JMP Trial page has been updated to give access to JMP 17.

I'm disappointed for both the team and our customers that we will not have the opportunity to deliver the best release ever using My JMP.
The team worked extremely hard but we were not able to reach our goals of delivering JMP 17 with our new systems at launch.
However, it is important for us to deliver a great experience with the highest quality.
I am confident the team will deliver on both very soon.
