For line annotations in Heatmaps, could you please add a function to generate linecut plots like in imageJ.
Axes of the new plot:
x axis: position along the line
y axis: "color" value of the Heatmap
Line Profile in JMP?
As an option, the user can specify
- the "width" (averaging region) of the line
- if the Linecut graph is added to the Line as a Hover Label

Re: Line annotation: option to generate linecut plotHi @hogi, you've read my mind! Was thinking that an add-in would be ideal for this, and given the number of incoming requests and priorities for JMP 18, it is unlikely that we'd have the bandwidth to add this to JMP.

After posting this wish, I invested some time to develop a linecut function and put it into my GraphBuilder Toolbar Add-In:
Graph Builder Toolbar
The Add-In is in revision phase, so soon users will be able to use it from there.
perhaps not necessary to include it directly in JMP?
