Re: Opportunity abounds on Giving TuesdayFor those who are local, I noticed on Yammer that the Salvation Army Angel Tree that WIN organizes still has 166 children to be sponsored.
**** UPDATE on Angel Tree ****
As of today 11/11/22, we have sponsored 184 angels! But we still have 166 children that need someone to step up and sponsor them. Everyone asks for the younger children but we have many older ones that need your help. Please consider sponsoring an angel. Giving Tuesday (11/29) is right around the corner!
Thanks!
Salvation Army Angel Tree
It's that time of year again! SAS WIN is teaming up with the Salvation Army for the 2022 Angel Tree project. We currently have 350+ children to sponsor this year. Please fill out the MS form here to become a sponsor. Please allow 1-2 business days for us to process your request.
Re: Opportunity abounds on Giving TuesdayThanks @Ryan_Lekivetz ... i saw an update from my WIN team today -- we have 92 angels left!! So please if you are interested, please fill out the form and help a child enjoy the upcoming holidays. I always enjoy buying coats, hates, or clothes, knowing I'm helping a child that might not have very much at all -- and we've been very blessed.
Please fill out the **MS form here **to become a sponsor. Please allow 1-2 business days for us to process your request.
The details are listed on the form but this year we have also provided you a document to download and print for reference at \\d10d508\Public\SA-Angel-Tree\Angel-Tree-2022-Details.docx.
Drop-off at SAS will be one day only on Giving Tuesday, 11/29 from 8 AM - 4 PM ET at the LW loading dock.
Any further questions? Please contact Judi Rourke or Christine Halk
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Giving Tuesday is a week away!
Giving Tuesday is a movement that launched in 2012 to help encourage us to do something positive and give back to the generous charities, communities, friends, and family that surround us.
On Nov. 29, Giving Tuesday, we can come together in unity to share our generosity with our family, friends, and strangers alike by giving the gift of our time, talents, and resources.
As we close out 2022, we would love to see JMP employees get involved and contribute some positivity to end the year on a high note – celebrate those who went above and beyond with an act of kindness, support an amazing non-profit or organization in the community, or help a stranger in need, especially this time of year.
See this Inside SAS article to learn how you can get involved in volunteer opportunities in Cary and around the globe.
What are you doing to join the generosity movement right where you are? Share with us in the comments.
