[Presentation overview]
For those already familiar with basic statistical knowledge such as linear regression analysis, maximum likelihood estimation, and multivariate normal distributions, I will introduce the new capabilities of the Structural Equation Models platform in JMP Pro 17. The Structural Equation Models platform in JMP Pro allows you to estimate linear models with latent variables based on full information maximum likelihood estimation assuming a multivariate normal distribution. Perform inference on a wide range of linear models, including path analysis with latent variables and confirmatory factor analysis. Since the model assumed by the analyst can be specified by drawing a path diagram, the relationship between variables in the assumed model can be intuitively understood. JMP Pro 17 also supports multi-population analysis. After briefly introducing some of the models that can be fitted with structural equation models, I will introduce the new features of JMP Pro 17, focusing on multi-population analysis.
