Recode - update other column properties in the recode platformRecode is a widely used platform. Recent new features have made it better and better - especially for recoding survey data. For example when changing the values, column properties associated with those values also updated. It would be nice to be able to update other column properties in the recode platform when creating new columns. For survey data the most common other column properties not tied to the values are SPSS Name and SPSS Label. They come in when importing an .sav file into JMP. Our users leverage the switch long names / short names add-in a lot and being able to update these in recode would be helpful. Today they have to reopen the new column properties and update the SPSS Name & Label there.
Thinking that being able to see a list of the other column properties and able to update them as a section in an outline box.
