Here are the steps needed to validate the JMP 14 trial at production. These steps can also be used for testing the trial in the AEM stage environment (for dry runs). Obviously, for dry runs, make sure to test the stage publish versions of the trial (not the live trial links supplied below).
Step 1
Navigate to jmp.com and make sure you are NOT logged into the SAS profile.
Step 2
Clear browser cache and cookies. Restart browser.
Step 3
Open a version of the JMP Trial registration page. The US version is a good place to start. For a thorough testing (if there’s time), it can’t hurt to test a non-English version as well (e.g. DE version).
Step 4
Test with an existing profile.
- Fill out the registration form using an email address that is connected to an existing SAS profile.
- Note which operating system you select (to validate later in the process).
- Upon form submission, review Thank You page.
- Do you receive a confirmation email? If yes, double-check…

- A download link is provided (check for correct OS reference in link).
- Serial number is provided and starts with an R.
- Valid contact link is provided in body of email.
- In confirmation email, click on trial download link.
- Log into SAS profile.
- Confirm that you are taken to correct JMP 14 Trial Download page on support.sas.com.
- Check Salesforce to make sure lead gets added to campaign (7011O000002OuZY).
Step 5
Test with a new profile.
- Repeat steps 1-3.
- Fill out the registration form using an email address that is NOT connected to an existing SAS profile.
- Note: Using a tool like Mailinator to create a temporary email can be helpful.
- Note which operating system you select (pick the OS that you did not select in step 4).
- Upon form submission, review Thank You page.
- Did you receive a confirmation email? If yes, double-check…

- A download link is provided (check for correct OS reference in link).

- Create password for SAS profile.
- Click “Continue”
- Log into SAS profile using new email and passwords created for step 5.
- Confirm that you are taken to correct JMP 14 Trial Download page on support.sas.com.
- Check Salesforce to make sure lead gets added to campaign (7011O000002OuZY).
