Here's a simple demo you can use to show server-side data refresh in JMP Live 17.
Report: https://devlive17.jmp.com/packages/H1vHBSnw1hkV2jCG4lfqg?cs=%5B%22SA%22%5D
Settings page where you can refresh the data: https://devlive17.jmp.com/packages/04QxZFzlH_j2NL5dpLtqy/settings
When you refresh, it pulls 20 rows randomly from the 1300 row White Polymer data. So it should be at least slightly different every time you refresh. For maximum effect take a screengrab of "before" to compare with "after".
Happy to give anybody view and/or edit permissions as necessary, just let me know.
Edited to Add: I granted everyone full permissions in the "Sandbox" space where this demo resides. If you make changes to anything -- the report, the data, refresh schedule -- please reset it to the original configuration, so it's ready for the next demo.
Great idea @nick_shelton. I granted everything but "Delete" privileges to All Users. Updating the post to reflect the new permissions.
Thanks @Jordan_Hiller. If there's no concerns with sharing, I believe you can grant everyone access if you add the "all users" group under group permissions.
