We're happy to welcome Anna Lena Holp (@LenaHolp) to JMP! Originally from a small southern town in Germany where she lived with her parents, sister, and cat Findus, she now lives in Heidelberg. "If you are around, let me know!" Anna Lena said. "I am a great tour guide."
After graduating with a degree in International Business, Anna Lena started her career at SAS in 2019, participating in the Sales Academy, a 4-month training program. The program educated new employees from all around the world about SAS, sales, and American culture.
Anna Lena says traveling is her addiction – she loves experiencing new cultures. She learned English and Spanish in school and has lived in Shanghai and Málaga, Spain. She has also traveled to extraordinary places including Morocco, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Asia. "My parents have gotten used to it," she said. "They don’t panic anymore when I tell them about my next travel destination."
In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball and trying Pilates, reading books, listening to music, and everything related to food which, she says, includes cooking, eating, reading, and just thinking about food. "What makes a meal even more fun is sharing it with friends and family with a nice glass of wine," Anna Lena said. "This is what I am doing most of the weekends when I am in Heidelberg."
Let's give Anna Lena a warm welcome to JMP!
