Axis sort giving odd result

I tried to sort the X-Axis by descending values.. but it's clearly not doing that.  What am I missing?  INV$ is the Y-axis.  I want most INV$ to least by label on the X-axis.

Without knowing the data you have, only one thing comes to my mind. Check which summary statistic is being used (you might have to change it to Sum for example)

I do have the summary statistic set as sum, which is why it's odd.

Check Order Statistic from the X-axis (right click on axis and check order statistic). It might be using different summary statistic than the bars for ordering.

 

Example: Bars are using Sum but X-axis is sorted by Min

That did it!  The order statistic was Mean.. so I changed it to Sum and it worked as expected.  Appreciate the help.
