Encuentre la pendiente máxima

Hola a todos,

 

Tengo una lista de puntos que forman una línea inclinada, me interesa saber la pendiente máxima que crea la curva.

Tengo muchos conjuntos de puntos, así que me interesa saber cómo hacerlo en una fórmula.

 

Por ejemplo, los números 1,2,3,4 forman una línea recta con una pendiente fija de 1, por lo que el máximo es 1.Mis números no forman una línea recta por lo que la ecuación es más complicada.

Es posible que le interese el valor absoluto del cambio. Abs(punto3-punto2) ...

Es posible que necesite un diseño escalable, que maneje cientos de columnas. Eso es posible usando una matriz.

¿Está ajustando un modelo y extrayendo la primera derivada máxima, o simplemente está interesado en la diferencia más significativa entre los puntos?

Aquí hay una modificación de @Craige_Hales fórmula que elimina el requisito de enumerar cada par de columnas

dt = Current Data Table();
Max( Abs( dt[Row(), Index( 1, N Cols( dt ) - 2 )] - dt[Row(), Index( 2, N Cols( dt ) - 1 )] ) );

Aquí hay un enfoque diferente usando un script. Se adapta a cualquier número de puntos de datos (columnas de datos) y observaciones. Asume que la tabla de datos está abierta y que la última columna está dedicada a almacenar el resultado.
