Graph builder bar chart data label controlI'd like to see the ability to set the font, location in the bar, and decimal format in the graph builder platform for the bar chart data labels. Right now the only option is to change the default Font setting for all charts to get the data fonts to be what you need. This need to be able to be changed on a per graph basis along with the additional formatting options.

If this is still important please comment with additional details and we will reopen. Thank you!Re: Graph builder bar chart data label controlPlease bring this request back. This is a critical feature for making graphs for presentations.
Re: Graph builder bar chart data label controlI agree with @Tom_M1, this is still a needed customization!
@Ryan_Gilmore
Should I resubmit the request?
Re: Graph builder bar chart data label controlIn addition to the options in the original request by @shampton82, I'd also like to have the option to rotate the bar chart data label vertical.
Re: Graph builder bar chart data label control - Status changed to: AcknowledgedRe: Graph builder bar chart data label controlI just found this wish - after submitting my own version:
Graphbuilder: option to rotate - and position - labels
If this wish gets accepted, please also add a option to rotate the Labels via the GUI.
Up to now, it's just possible to rotate the labels via JSL scripting.
In total:
1 acknowledged wish
+ in total ~ 10 Kudos.:)

Graph Builder Bar Graph Label Offset
Re: Graph builder bar chart data label control"bar chart label control"
besides specifying the vertical position along a bar, like discussed in Graph Builder Bar Graph Label Offset , please also provide a way to specify the "alignment":
- "centered"
- "left"
- "right"
- distance to 0 ?
to get nicer looking graphs:

Re: Graph builder bar chart data label controlbesides bar chart, please also add an option for Heatmap plots to move and rotate the labels.
plot on the left: bars - like expected
plot on the right: heatmap - no effect

dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp" );
gb = Graph Builder(
Variables( X( :name ), X( :name ) ),
Elements(
Position( 1, 1 ),
Bar( X, Legend( 3 ), Bar Style( "Stacked" ), Summary Statistic( "N" ), Label( "Label by Row" ) )
),
Elements( Position( 2, 1 ), Heatmap( X, Legend( 5 ), Label( "Label by Row" ) ) ),
Local Data Filter(
Add Filter(
columns( :name ),
Where( :name == {"ALFRED", "ALICE", "AMY", "BARBARA", "CAROL"} )
)
)
);
fbs = gb << xpath("//FrameBox");
fbs[1] << DispatchSeg( BarSeg( 1 ), {Set Font( "", 18, "", 90 ), set label offset({1,1,0.8})} );
fbs[2] << DispatchSeg( RectSeg( 1 ), Set Font( "", 18, "", 90 ));
fbs[2] << DispatchSeg( RectSeg( 1 ), set label offset({1,1,0.8}));
Re: Graph builder bar chart data label controlBesides Bar graphs and Heatmaps, please also add a label control for Pointp plots.
@Sarah-Sylvestre, couldy you please check the topic - better submit separate wishes for the other plot types?

Re: Graph builder bar chart data label controlAnother great feature which should be added:
A control which column is used as Label.
At the moment, Graph builder takes this setting from the Table settings.
So, if a label is added to one graph, it will automatically show up in ALL graphs.
As soon as you have 2 different labels for 2 different graphs, this leads to a conflict.
Both labels will show up in both graphs.
The idea: a sepecial command in Graph Builder which can be used to specify the labels for THIS graph.
Actually: a copy of the functionality which is available for hover labels.
Cool side effect: This will also allow to use Transform Columns as Labels (!!!)
Label columns don't have to be added to the main data table.
example: Graph Builder, stack bar with N as summary and % of factor as label
