Customers are eager for the release of JMP 17, but it may be a few more weeks until existing customers can install the latest release using My JMP.
“Development of My JMP is continuing, but it is not complete and therefore not ready for customer use,” JMP Customer Enablement Director Jeff Perkinson said in a recent all-staff email. “As a result, we will not be notifying administrators, or anyone else, about JMP 17 this week. We will also not be updating jmp.com with additional information about JMP 17.”
All new customer orders will be fulfilled with JMP 17 through the SAS download manager. Additionally, if an existing customer needs JMP 17, an order can be requested through SAS Licensing Operations and jmp.com/upgrade.
“We are planning for My JMP to be ready by the end of the month,” Perkinson said. “I will keep you updated and let you know when the email to JMP software administrators will go out.”
The JMP Trial page has been updated to give access to JMP 17.

We have many customers that are super excited about JMP 17! I am still routing the software requests through the old process, but curious if we are getting close to the My JMP portal release. If it is coming soon, I will start suggesting they hold off on using the software depot, etc. to make their life on the administration side much, much easier.

@Tim_Pierce_JMP, we're still working toward My JMP. I can't give a date at this time but I'm hopeful it will be soon. If you have someone who needs it, please do point them jmp.com/upgrade.
