30 day JMP Evaluation License to Full Annual License Question

Question

I should probably know this...but if a prospect uses their evaluation license to...say create a data table(s), maybe a journal, scripts or three or four...and save these BEFORE they install their purchased license...will the purchased annual license play nice with the data tables, journals, scripts etc.?

Hey Peter,

Yes everything they created on the trial version should work on the full version.  The only problem I have run into with this is if they connect to a 32-bit database with the trial version that will no longer work with the full version.

@Peter_Hersh is right, anything created with the Trial version can be opened with the annual license version.

However, since the JMP 14 Trial is now 64-bit, the risk of moving between 32-bit with the trial and 64-bit with the annual license is no longer a concern.
