Add an Erlang Calculator to JMPWhat inspired this Wish List Request?
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see. A description of the Erlang calculator, along with an online calculator and a downloadable Excel Erlang calculator are available here: Erlang Calculator for Call Centre Staffing (callcentretools.com)
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
Is this an external customer request? The name of the company is Seguros Monterrey, an affiliate of New York Life. This is currently a lead, not a customer.
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of? I'm unsure, but there are Excel add-ins for this calculation.
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this? It would be a nice feature to show any customers that are responsible for running efficient call centers.

Re: Add an Erlang Calculator to JMP - Status changed to: Not Planned For NowHi @MarilynWheatley , we are not planning to add this request for now as we think it would make a great add-in @Peter_Hersh.
Re: Add an Erlang Calculator to JMP@Sarah-Sylvestre and @MarilynWheatley , I agree it should be a pretty easy add-in. Let me know if you would like to work on it.
Re: Add an Erlang Calculator to JMP@Peter_Hersh sounds cool! The people that made the request are starting with 2 JMP licenses. I've already told them that I'd logged their feedback, so I'm sure they'd be delighted if we provided an add-in. I don't know anything about creating add-ins, but I'm glad to help in any way I can. Just let me know.
Re: Add an Erlang Calculator to JMP@MarilynWheatley If you have time to dig into this. I would recommend coming up with the math behind the calculator. Then figure out what they want in the report (same info on this page? https://www.callcentretools.com/tools/erlang-calculator/). What else are they hoping to get with JMP over what this page does already? If we know that then we can work on an add-in if you think there are enough call centers to warrant the effort.
