It was wonderful to see and talk with so many colleagues and fantastic people. Customer interest is so important to us and hearing firsthand how much they are looking forward to our upcoming software release really helps us stay focused.
Congratulations to all on delivering a great experience.

I enjoyed seeing colleagues in person for the 1st time in what seemed like forever!
Every customer I spoke with mentioned how happy they were that we had an in-person component for Discovery this year. Great job team! Looking forward to the next event!
Congratulations!
My special guests from SK Hynix were genuinly satisfied with all the contents presented and having opportunities of Asking the experts. And, they really appreciated the hospitality of all JMP staffs.
With this opportunity, they seem to have clearly recognized what JMP can do.
I appreciate all on delivering a great experience again.
What a treat it was to see so many customers and colleagues in 3-D and have real eye contact! So grateful!
Amazing moments captured
Awesome!
A huge THANK YOU to all of staff members who supported this event in-person, as well as all of you who supported from afar by inviting strategic users. It was a full team effort.

ReDISCOVER. ReCONNECT. ReIGNITE. ReMEMBER.
These were the themes of the Discovery Summit Americas In-Person Special Segment, held this week at SAS headquarters. For many participants who have been frequent Discovery attendees over the years, it was a long overdue reunion.
For all participants, it was a unique opportunity to see what's coming in JMP 17, speak one-to-one with developers and technical experts, and find inspiration in case studies from other organizations.
John Sall, Joseph Morgan, Aurora Tiffany-Davis and Julian Parris revelealed the highlights of our new release, coming next month. John walked through the important themes of a good workflow, all of which are important aspects of the JMP 17 release:
- Fluid – not interrupted by obstacles, detours
- Guided – help you walk through the process with minimum decisions
- Navigate – with a good search facility
- Fast – shouldn’t have to wait any longer than necessary
- Clear and concise – shouldn’t have to decipher jargon
- Collaboration – with team members, stakeholders and publish results
- Remembered – it should be easier the second time
Quotes to remember
“We made things fast for wide data in a lot of places in JMP.”
-- John Sall, @John_Sall
“What if you could encapsulate in one tool all the steps, so it’s seamless?” That’s the value of Easy DOE.
-- Joseph Morgan, @Joseph_morgan2
“We think a smooth workflow will enable collaboration, and that’s what JMP Live is all about. We hope to make sharing with your colleagues easy, powerful, collaborative and reproducible.”
-- Aurora Tiffany-Davis, @Aurora_TiffanyD
“What if we could really say that code is as easy as click? How would that change your work?” That's the value of Workflow Builder.
-- Julian Parris, @julian
“No longer do you need a statistician to do basic analytics. When you empower your experts, you enable the whole facility to do these things. So we can solve bigger problems.”
-- Diana Nadler, PhD, Manager, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals
When asked about artificial intelligence: “It’s not the be all, end all. You still need domain expertise. You have to have the analysts and the domain experts to build the solutions.”
-- Ionicia Dembi, Senior Manager, Micron Technology
“It’s a very competitive world and the last thing we want to do is waste time by not weaving analytics into the fabric of our business.”
-- Andres Alvarez Zaa, Quality Manager, Nike Air Manufacturing Innovation
What does it mean to go green?
The event ended with an important call to action to be a change agent for sustainability, no matter your role or industry. Professors Grace Lasker and Rick Morgan outlined the ideas behind and implementation of green chemistry practices, and how JMP can be an important part of the process.
“We need to build a business case and a technical case. And build a model based on researched data and designed experiments,” Rick explained.
