I hope that you enjoyed our JMP Academy sessions in Heidelberg.
A reminder of what we covered:
- Our JMP Goals.
- An introduction to how JMP is used in our core markets. You heard about JMP in Semiconductors and Chemicals from @HadleyMyers and @Emmanuel_Romeu . In your teams you found out a bit about how JMP is used in Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Products.
- How We Demo JMP. @martindemel told us about 3 important factors for a successful JMP demo meeting: teamwork, listening, and show the last thing first. And you saw a dreadful demo video from US West SE Manager, @chuck_boiler.
- In our Pub Quiz you learned about Anscombe's quartet that John Sall uses to illustrate the importance of visuals in statistics.

- @Florian_Vogt helped you with an aeronautical engineering task to optimise the design of paper helicopters. You experienced how JMP and Design of Experiments enables scientists and engineers to gain deeper insights, faster.
- Finally, @nina_chan and @Michael-Schmidt helped you to be brand ambassadors for JMP using LinkedIn. (Remember #DOEbyPhilKay
)
Next Steps
Because we had to finish early we did not have time for the introduction to Product Management so please watch this recording: Product Management (only watch to 15:41).
Watch this dreadful demo because it is really funny and my favourite example of how NOT to demo.
If you were not here for the sessions that were presented in Cary in July, you should catch up with them from these recordings:
Please let me know what you liked and any suggestions for how we can improve JMP Academy, either in the comments below or by email (phil.kay@jmp.com). And let me know if I can do anything else to help.

Thanks @Phil_Kay for the sessions! We had so much fun!
